Garfunkel and Oates - Sex With Ducks lyrics
Pat robertson once said "It's a long downward slide That'll lead to legalizing sex with ducks If two men can stand side by side". God, I hope he's right 'Cause if gay marriage becomes lawful Gonna find myself a duck And legally do Something awful awful, awful. Ducks, sex with ducks We'll do it in the rain Ducks, yeah, ducks Got those wet feet on my brain We'll find a pond, we'll find a puddle Put your beak in mine and we'll cuddle It's a feeling I can't name When sex with ducks and gay marriage Are one and the same. Gonna goose that goose Gonna quack that swan Gonna rubber my duckie all night long Gonna whack that mallard Until its feathers plume Gonna huey dewey louie all over the room Scrooge mcduck, gonna give it to you Dive into your gold until you say Ducktales, whoo hoo. Ducks, sex with ducks We'll do it in the rain Ducks, yeah, ducks Those feathered bodies are insane We'll find a pond, we'll find a puddle I'll be the wind beneath your wings and we'll cuddle It's a feeling I can't name When sex with ducks and gay marriage Are one and the same One and the same One and the same. Sex With Ducks
Richard O. Ducks are different from most birds in the fact that male ducks have a penis, analogous with the mammalian or human penis. And the fact that ducks still have a penis allows them to force copulation in ways that are unavailable to other birds. Unpaired males will attempt to force copulation during the egg-laying season. There are even socially organized groups of males pursuing females to force copulation.
Thanks for submitting these lyrics! Although I don't own the CD and can't check the booklet, and although I can find online versions of the lyrics that both agree and disagree with me, to me it sounds like the 3rd stanza's 4th line should be: "Got those webbed feet on my brain". What's your take on it? Well, apparently the band has decided to post the lyrics on their website, and it looks like you're correct. I'll edit accordingly.
